How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
The coders forget to make the player have a minimum amount of health, this opens the doors to a new dimension.

Did you work in a team? If so, link their itch profiles.

I really wanna like this, it feels like a solid base but Idunno.
The pacing is weird like it takes too long to get to the error part if you just run around and avoid enemies, and then you have to run around without enemies through the same stuff trying to find letters?
And then randomly I respawned normally I guess and the framerate gradually dropped to 1fps  which I thought might've been intentional at first but then nothing happened so Idunno.

Like the gunplay is nice and the vibes are good, I liked the error popup I thought it could've been  a real crash at first, the transition after 'dying' was good but none of it really comes together to make the game work I guess. Suppose it just needed more time to cook, but such is the nature of jams.

P.S. please provide a web build in the future. And perhaps some more effort into screenshots and such. I very nearly passed on this because I hate downloading stuff.

I enjoyed the movement of the player and the art style. Some more instructions for the player would help. I was a little lost. I liked the pop-up error; I thought it was real :)

I don't think my feedback here will be 100% fair because I cannot figure out what to do after you enter the negative mode. I was trying to collect weapons and the letter but the game always drop the frame rate to an unplayable level after a short while and I'm out of ideas.

But from what I experienced so far, the atmosphere is incredible and I'm always a sucker for meta-games so the error message gave me chills in a good way. I've never played the original doom but I still love the aesthetics. I do think it would be a great "explore and figure out the story" type of game and be well received by many, but to me there is probably a too big of a lack of hints. Other than that no complaint. I'd totally play again if this game gets expanded to full.

Thanks for the feedback :)

I learned how to use TrenchBroom and Qodot (How the map was made) just when the jam started and the team set on making a shooter.

I ran out of time and didn't manage to fix that bug. ( About 200 to 400 enemies are spawned in invisible and that bogs down the game, and I can't figure out why exaclty that happens). But you were on the right track, there is a total of 11 letters and 2 guns you can find.

Maybe in the future I will try to make a full game out of this.
