Unfair ratings is some bs imo

If people advertised your stuff naturally and had a game that others can play easily and would enjoy then they would do pretty well.

The real crap is rate for rate, because that gets you review bombed while your comments are positive. People backstab, so better to advertise normally by giving real feedback and comments on other games to boost Karma.

People usually rate 1-3 stars and comment stuff like “Good game!” because they believe that it will boost their ratings and karma by tricking you basically. Rate 4 Rate is hell.

I’m so glad I didn’t do anything related to Rate for Rate, because that is a pithole that will get your game review bombed while the comments spew positive notions.

So much polish, so so much polish was put into this game. I enjoyed this so much, the amount of juice just made the experience so satisfying to me. Like the previous person said, a bit laggy but still, incredible experience.

This game was super creative and fun.

I did not feel like Harry Potter though, I felt like a background character who struggled. 9/10 would play again.

Reminds me a lot of Undertale, and also the amount of skill to use some of the weapons. It was incredibly cool, also was kind of a rythm game! Good Game!

One of the best quality games of this jam. Its terrifying and so creative, the whole vibe freaks me out and the monkeys are goddamn terrifying. It’s super hard but that makes any bit of completion that much more satisfying. I also got lost a bit, maybe a skill issue of my directional skills. 10/10 would never play again

This game is really fun! Took me a bit to actually get good with the combat, but the concept is amazing, The speed is a bit too much for me but it still was amazing!

I wished I could use Yo Mama as an actual option. 10/10 would play again

Speedun Platformer!

Most of what I did was focus on my movement, which through this I learned a lot of what made Celeste a lot of fun, the movement wasn’t the main aspect that made it fun, it was the level design that made players think. That was the majority of what I learned. Also I hadn’t done Game Dev in a year so this was such a fun way to get back into it.

I’ve been stressed out of my mind lately, and this game genuinely was such a great way to ease up. This game is so relaxing with the artstyle and game loop that I feel, if I had the time, I would sink hours and hours into this. What an amazing submission!

Really nice art, some improvements could be made to the combat but overall the upgrades are good and its pretty fun. Good game!

Very simple, and a lot of fun! I really enjoyed trying to line up my shots (I did not know you could change directions) even if I was bad at aiming. Great game!
