Not a bad arena shooter game.

I feel like it's missing some key elements however, like some ways to keep track of your score or a time limit.

The movement felt a bit weird and unresponsive to me. The whole grey background makes it feelt kinda disorienting to play.

Sound and music is fun, but the respawn sound is too loud imo.

Solid core loop, just need to add some more polish to make it more fun.

Hi, I really liked playing your game, the movement and abilities/glitches together made gameplay fun, challenging, and harmonizing. Some improvements I think can be made is adding ability cooldowns to UI and personally I think holding down the primary attack would be great. Well done on making this game, overall it was a very fun experience!

Pretty fun! At first it was hard to get the duplication ability to work but once i had the timing down of left click right click it felt really powerful. I think the background needs some kind of art or something since it felt really easy to get "lost" and not really know where you were relative to enemies. A mini map would have been cool as well. The movement trail really helped sell the "impact" of shooting though which was really nice. Nice job!

Thanks for playing! The duplication ability is actually my favorite - I’m really glad it felt good, I spent a lot of time tuning it. I thought the trail would help fix that "getting lost" feeling, but I guess it didn’t quite do the job. Appreciate the feedback!

the trail is pretty cool, i think it does a great job indicating speed and direction. def something ill consider if i try one of these games some time!

This is a really fun Survivors-like, and implementing the upgrades as glitches is a really cool idea. I like the simplicity of the art style, it helps keep the game really clean and readable. The teleport ability was a lot of fun. I think some kind of background art would've helped a bit, sometimes I didn't realize I was up against a wall, and I think seeing moving objects in the background would help contextualize the movement. Nice work overall!

Developer

I'm glad you liked it! I honestly wasn’t sure the idea would work at first, but it actually does! Thanks for the feedback - if I could, I’d definitely tweak the background.
