Message from the artist
I normally compose orchestral or 8bit tracks, so I tried to go with an entirely different vibe that would work with the constraint. So, I ended up deciding on an electronic-ish, relaxed vibe, sort of lo-fi.
The overall idea was for a game centered around saving a loved one from their fate by manipulating time and repeating the same day over and over again, trying to change events and alter the timeline toward that end.
Difficulty
Make something that has elements that can be listened to both backwards and forwards.

Certainly liked your second approach "Chill Relaxing Music" (hvis navn kunne være bedre ;) ) best. Simple but effective. It got a very calm but isolated feeling like a small clock ticking in an empty room (sorry might be a bad comparison). None the less sweet work.

Ooh man right of the bat this reminds me of the pirates grotto in Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door and the Antient Cistern from Skyward Sword with the echoey instrument.
