Description
i started at 11pm the night before so i didnt have much time. did the whole thing in 3 hours r less lol (honestly probably couldve done it faster)

because of that, it's not the most elaborate track. the whole thing is just improvised chords (with some editing afterwards) and fx automations. i used fl studio for this, and the flutey synth is literally a default massive preset called amsterdamn (or something like that)

but in the end, i think it sounds pretty nice despite the low effort.

Artist comment:
ambient electronic thing. hope u enjoy :)

Theme:

Two Worlds
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
there are basically only 2 elements in the track: the noise in the background and the synth. the noise is kind of glitchy at the beginning and end while the chords are melancholic and calm. i'll admit that it doesn't match the theme all that well, other than that the synth sounds wintery in some way like the image. but i hope it fits well enough

Pretty good for making this in such a short time!

Nice ambient track! Sounds like some "stuck inside during a rainy day"-type music.

Developer

yea i can definitely see that, there is technically a recording of rain in it

thanks

Nice little clash of noise and harmony, my favourite combination :^)

I would advise making the high-pitched noise and wild panning a bit less extreme, if it was in an actual game soundtrack that you hear over and over again, it might be a bit headache inducing lmao

and thanks for the critique, the intro and outro with the noise/glitches definitely wouldnt fit in an actual game, theyre more there cus i thought it sounded cool lol. but yea ur right

Developer

unless u meant something else then oops

This is so simple, and yet it's able to evoke so many emotions in me. It makes me want to fall asleep, in the good way! It's just that peaceful and relaxing. I'm not sure if this was intentional, but the beginning and end of the track, paired with the wind and nature sounds throughout ,make me think of a meticulously crafted virtual world, being loaded in, and then loaded out. Either way, a great track!

Developer

ty, im glad u found it relaxing

i definitely was not thinking of loading in and out a virtual world when making it, i just thought it sounded cool. but thats a very fitting and interesting way of interpretting it

also, theres actually no samples of wind or nature sounds in this :o the wind is a noise generator with 2 automations on it to make it more dynamic + a recording of rain with reverb and heavy distortion on it. there may have been a bird chirp or 2 that made it thru tho lol

anyway thanks!

This could make an amazing ambient tracks for an open world game. You just made the BOTW 2 theme in 3 hours. Well done!
