Description
The track is composed as a vocal track with instrumentals focusing heavily on piano and string accompaniment. This was made in Garageband using the midi instruments available in the program
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
I chose to make the song about the meeting between the white dragon and a human, separated by land and sky. The lyrics reflect this, with it being sung from the Dragon's perspective

See now this is piano and strings I can get behind because there are vocals to enhance them and make the song so much more unique and interesting to listen to!
Nice work! I really like the instrumentals.
such a strong melody man, i love it
that switch up 2mins in is so groovy too, just pure jrpg
I'm glad you liked it!
Early on, I wanted that section to be a little longer + have lyrics for it as well. I decided against it, since I didn't like what I drafted up for it, but still wanted to incorporate it in somehow.
I love the chord progression choice, the clear structure, the melodic theme is very recognizable. To me the only thing that hurts the song is the shy and undermixed singing, you voice is okay dude, get along with it.
Thanks. I think recording my voice was probably the part of this I was the most nervous about, since I don't have a lot of experience with live recording in general, but overall I'm glad I tried. Perhaps once the judging period is over I'll go back and rerecord.
