Description
This is a soundtrack to a JRPG that I'm titling "Hallowed Silver". I can't quite box it into a singular musical genre, but I hope it all glues together well while listening. Everything was made using Reason 12, my DAW of choice.

The individual tracks represent the following:
1. Hallowed Silver - Title Screen
2. Blank Destiny - File Select
3. Ghost of the World - Overworld Theme
4. Song of Flames and Steel - Battle Theme
5. A Sterling Job! - Victory Theme
6. Pearly Gates - Game Over
7. Heavenly Machinations - Boss Theme

Message from the artist
For a long stretch of time, my musical output has largely been remixing existing songs or making music for other people. This jam reminded me of the joy of making something for myself. I had so much fun composing each and every one of these tracks and I'm grateful for a challenge like this. I hope all those who participate in these jams get as much out of it as I did.

the chord change in the title screen track at 0:30 was money. The first sound in 6. pearly gates was also really sweet

How did you manage this in 48 hours?!?! Did you have a team?? This is really good!

Love the Persona-esque sound in the second half.

Developer

glad you heard the inspiration there, i definitely had persona on the mind when i was making tracks 4 and 5!

Awesome!! I think all the songs are very well made but DAMN TRACKS 4 5 AND 7 SLAP SO HARD!!!

Developer(+1)

thank you!  those are definitely some of my favorites too!

I'm gonna call it right now and say that this is probably my favorite entry of the lot and I have rated 80 so far. Every single track was phenomenal and I hope I can stand a chance against how excellent this is

wow, that's such high praise... i really appreciate it!

These are some really well-made pieces! I did feel like the first half of the soundtrack felt like a different game than the later half, but overall great tracks!

Developer

thank you! i did try motivically to unite the soundtrack since i know how different each track sounds but i do agree there may have been too much stylistic separation track-to-track.

Each one of these songs is a winner in its own right, absolute bangers across the board. I have to admit they feel rather disassociated from each other, but that made listening through a lot of fun, simply because I didn't know what would be next and it was always great

Developer

thank you!  i personally value variety and that sense of unpredictability a lot so glad you got something out of that
