Description
Inner Flow is a soundtrack made to resemble the inner stream of consciousness one experiences when creating something in a state of 'flow'. It serves as a more cinematic soundpiece for a game but can be dissected to more loopable elements.
The track was made almost entirely of synthesized MIDI instruments within Logic Pro X 11.
Message from the artist
The soundtrack was made in the last 24h of the OST7 jam, trying to maintain the state of flow.
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
The soundtrack has some bubbly, ebbing and flowing elements meant to represent the inner waves that come and go when experiencing a state of flow experienced in my brain when gaming.
It's pretty linear, but hopefully good for a little cinematic episode.

GRYAH! It sounds cute for the first half :_)
And in the second half... Why does this sound like a theme for an Ariel game? Heh...
I like it!
I really liked how much variety there was in this one track. kept it interesting!
Really like how this progressed from the get go - nice layering of different voicings and unconventional rhythm and lead trade-offs. Gorgeous soft-synths used throughout, be it the leads or pads - gives me some loose Tycho vibes at points.
The change of pace around the mid-point was clever - I like the introduction of more prominent bass, and the layering of the mallet-like bell synth overtop is really nice. This section in particular has a wonderful crescendo into a busier part of the track where the percussion is also introduced. Almost chiptune adjacent at points but staying firmly in the ambient electronic camp.
Dug this as a whole - great arranging, produced well and some interesting melodies and soundbeds. Nailed the theme, too. Would've loved to hear more in this style. Best of luck!
really enjoyed how this one progressed over time, and especially the feeling when the drums picked up around 2:43. excellent work!

I think it's pretty good, you nailed the effects you were going for. Really nice chill track!
Love the colors you're getting out of this piece, seeing the variety of tracks you used in the video to do so was also pretty cool to watch. Good stuff!
I really like this track - there are some great instrument choices, I love the blend of synth and more realistic sounds. The whole song has a really nice, dreamlike atmosphere. It would have been nice to hear a bit more, because what you have already is top notch!
Thanks ! I would certainly also have liked to make more. A strong feedback point I got from TanEs is that this song could have been split into multiple ones. If I'm participating with more time next jam, you will hear at least 3 songs ;)
Mesmerizing. The instrument choice is cute and I absolutely enjoy the end section when the drums kick in, it feels nostalgic in some sort of way. Would definitively jam to this while exploring a beach-like scene.
Thanks for the compliment <3 the nostalgia is strong for me too haha
A lovely arrangement that excels in creating a fresh and smooth experience for the listener. This track gives me Terraria vibes that I adore with it's synthetic plucks. I can definitely hear this kind of track in a survival game tropical area. Great work designing a track that works very well with the theme of this jam! Hope to hear more of your work in the future.
Wow thanks for the great and eloquently put compliment. I'd be happy to share more work!
