Wow such an enticing couple of tracks here! They're all so well mixed you'd believe they were composed by a AAA game composer. Favorite has to be Judgement + Final Battle, the track is so full of exciting moments and the crazy fast piano section is *chef's kiss*. Every song sounds cohesive with the next and fits nicely with the theme. Keep making music like this, you've got a knack for it.

Really beautiful stuff here honestly! My favorite tracks have to be Dear Mr Tuna and Join my Crew. The chord progression is so catchy in Dear Mr Tuna and all the instruments work so well together; really takes me somewhere tropical. Join my Crew has this pirate swing feel to it that I just love. It's fun and a very fresh change in this OST. There's so much variety and lovely textures found throughout this entire soundtrack so well done!

Only real negative thing I can point out is there's some songs that have mixing issues such as low rumble that muddies the mix. I'd also suggest adding volume automation/velocity control to your instruments to add variations in dynamics. I don't know how easy mixing frequencies is with MuseScore but I'm sure there's an efficient method out there! (Or cave and become a DAW user, hahaha)

Again, nicely done. I can tell you put a lot of effort into telling a story with your music. I think this OST would work brilliantly in an ocean themed game!

Very cool! I definitely hear the classic RPG elements of these tracks. I can already envision a cozy 8-bit adventure waiting to happen. I can tell you spent a lot of time thinking not only about the corrolation to the theme of the jam but the game you wanted to make an OST for. Very planned out and finely executed!

I like the idea here though I feel like it would fit better with a more spooky/mysterious theme. I can hear the underwater inspiration there but when I look at the smiling girl and bright colors in the picture theme, I don't hear this. The track is mixed really well though; nothing jumped out at me and it sounded smooth throughout. I enjoyed the steel drum section the most as it felt more connected to the theme. Overall I'd consider rethinking some instrumentation choices and add more layers and mixups in the beat to keep the track fresh and interesting throughout.

I love what you're trying to go for here. There are some tracks with really rich moments in the chord progressions for sure. The instrumentation is very pleasant and chill to listen to in the tracks Deceived, Discover, and Underwater Graveyard but the other 3 tracks are unfortunately a bit exausting to listen to. My ears aren't able to follow any sort of pattern or melody and that kind of experimental composition would be jarring and distracting in most types of games. I also think Steal the Energy doesn't fit the style of the other pieces here. Overall I commend you for composing these fun tracks (and having 6 of them)! I think the atmospheric tones you were going for gelled greatly with the theme of this jam. I also wish you would have come up with some sort of story for this imaginary game you're composing for.

Thank you so much! I'm happy you found my compositions compelling :)

A lovely arrangement that excels in creating a fresh and smooth experience for the listener. This track gives me Terraria vibes that I adore with it's synthetic plucks. I can definitely hear this kind of track in a survival game tropical area. Great work designing a track that works very well with the theme of this jam! Hope to hear more of your work in the future.

Well done! I love the little glitchy textures layered in the background. Your use of instrumentation on this track shows confidence and expertise in the genre. The bubbly pops and vocals fit very well with the themes presented for this jam. An exceptional piece that is beautifully composed through and through.

I really enjoyed these tracks filled with fun combinations of jazz and retro/electro sounds. Reminds me of early sonic games full of unique melodic lines and powerful synth basses.

Stage 01 has so many interesting sections that keeps the listener intrigued in where we're heading next. Stage 02 sets a slightly darker tone with a driving bassline overlayed with a classic brass synth. Time is running out! Theme envokes a sense of urgency with its repeated arppegios and tasteful dissonance.

Overall a very unique OST with some very fun stylistic choices throughout. Your game idea sounds super fun and your music fits the theme you chose well.

Thank you so much, you have no idea how sweet that is to hear :,)

I'm very happy I was able to deliver a soundtrack that can evoke this kind of response. I don't usually write in this orchestral style so I'm proud it's able to deliver! I'll definitely make a breakdown of each track if people are interested.

And yes I played on a wonderful nylon string guitar for the shop theme! I play jazz guitar so I thought it'd be a perfect opportunity to add some to that track.

I'm happy to hear you liked my sound track! Thanks for the review :)

Thanks, the title theme was my favorite track to make out of the bunch! I'm a sound designer at heart so I love finding ways to blend sound effects with music. Glad you enjoyed!
