Description
This is an RPG Horror game, focused on puzzle solving and choice making!
The story The story follows the player, who has found themselves trapped in the abandoned studio of their favorite 80s television show, The Fuzzle Friends. The only way out? Solving puzzles and The Power of Friendship! Oh, and the animatronic stars of the show...
The three tracks are:
- FIGHT! The Phone Line: a rhythmic puzzle battle in order to restore the phone connection.
- Ozzie's Theme: This track plays when you find the broken animatronic of the show's previous star, Ozzie the Otter. You can choose to leave them or fix them, and this changes the outcome of the game. Their theme is a music box version of the Television Show's theme song.
- BAD END - The Last Boss: This is the final fight with Sunny the Dog, the main antagonist of the game, and Ozzie's "sister".
This was composed in the in-browser program, BeepBox
Message from the artist
Thank you for listening to my work - this concept and this story (the story of which I've worked on for several months) is near and dear to my heart! Please enjoy <3
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
Fuzzle Friends is my whole world. A world and universe and history I have been developing for months, and in it's original inception I wondered what it would be like as a game. Though it was never developed as one and has changed many forms of media, this has always been my world. A project I care about so so much. And to share what it would be like "inside" has been amazing!

While I am getting a bit tired of the "mascot horror" Game and it's tropes and while I really dislike the sounds of beepbox, I feel like combination of the two really works. Something about the FM cheese just feels like a late 80s, early 90s TV commercial. You're writing ain't bad, but I would recommend, in the long run, to migrate to something more flexible.
Edit: oh, I really liked the answering machine.nice touch and great crunch on the vocals.
fellow beepbox user omg!!!!
very creative work!! each track sounds very intense with your use of the timpani. i like your composition the best in ozzie's theme, as it feels very intimate as opposed to the other tracks, while maintaining the distorted sound you have in the other tracks.
fun listen!! it's always great to run into another beepbox user!
the first track is just nightmarish but groovy at the same time. i like how there's an intermission in between with ozzie's theme, before the chaos of last boss ensues.
good job!
I love how this submission shows how cozy a RPG horror game could be. Bad End was my favorite track! Big fan of the dissonant guitar chords.
Fascinating tracks and world here. When I first started listening (Bad End played first) I thought it was a pretty chill game until it suddenly switched and I read that this is an RPG Horror! That was a fun surprise. I appreciate the added detail of the phone recording on FIGHT! The Phone Line! - Sunny. I think Bad End was my favorite track. The distortion guitar over the chromatic bass created a cool discordant sound that felt very fitting. Thanks for making and sharing.
FIGHT! The Phone Line! - Sunny - Is this a phone conversation? And then... madness
Ozzie's Theme is so soothing...
Sunny - The Final Boss - Bad End is also crazy and... frightening (My heart started beating faster. Lol)
Very experimental and creative work... Thanks for the impressions!
I think for creativity the first track is the strongest with its rich sound effect tilt to it. The middle track shows that you have ambience nailed and the last one is sneaky how it starts bright and gets very dark quickly.
Well done!
Can't say I'm overtly familiar with Beepbox so this was an interesting venture. The Bad End has some discordant choices of voicings here, helps sell how ominous the theme is meant to be given the title. Meanwhile Ozzie Theme has more of a hopeful lead line with an airy, lower drone going in the background which leads me to think that this theme is laden with a choice to be made by the player.
Interesting mix of tracks here, good work. Best of luck with the competition!
