Description
Game style: Undertale/Omori/JRPG inspired

Tracks:
- In Orbit - menu theme, focusing on the two central motifs (one for each main character) and how they might interlock with each other.
- Big Sis's Discounts - shop theme, said shop run by Elle's older sister Ann-Marie (older sibling roped into younger sibling's games), jazz-ish cool older sister vibes. Doesn't quote either main theme in any significant amount, but uses some ornamental flourishes in melody to allude to the relationship between the two.
- At Death's Door - game over screen track, quotes both main character motifs. A bit of a drastic title, but it might show up later for a plot related death :) (<- this is the smile of an author about to kill off a main character)

All tracks were assembled in FL Studio, after either the melody or the bassline were worked out on keyboard first. All notes were also entered by hand, due to lack of a midi controller.

Message from the artist
This was my first game jam ever, and my first time composing a (relatively) lot of music in a short time frame. I had more ideas that I was unable to get to due to time, but I might revisit them later!
Also, I debated calling this a hypothetical soundtrack (or HST), but no one would know what I'm referring to unfortunately.

Theme

How does it fit the theme?
The story of the game follows two childhood friends, Elle and Katie--one of whom can access her own pocket world at will--through RPG-esque adventures, with additional real-world teenager and young adult issues to deal with as well.
