Description
This sounds track is lo-fi, sparse and acoustic, with harp and vocals recorded live and in one take - no editing.
The incidental music is modular, in that all the passages have the same bassline repeated, meaning that the passages can be mixed and matched in different combinations to extend the length of the incidental music. Similarly the choruses and verses of the song can also be mixed and matched in order to throw vocals into the incidental music, as well as having them as the credits song
Message from the artist
This is my first composing jam. I've done song writing before, but this is my first attempt at instrumental composition outside of random improvisation.
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
The music is sparse and minimalistic, but like the bubbles it has layers built on top of it which come and go. The song is about the joy in creation and the magic of play

Incidental Music: Wasn't expecting live harp full with video! Simple but effective i-bVII-bVI harmony, but its varied throughout to keep it interesting.
Closing Credits: I wasn't expecting the singing. More surprises!
A very refreshing OST. Great work!
Real Harph? That's megacool!
And closing titles song is pretty interesting... now I'm curious, for what kind of game it would fits...
As some people said, I wasn't expect hear a track to be played live. It's really a nice surprise!! Congratulations on the work!! I really liked the second song, it's very beautiful!!
Wasn't expecting to hear a live piece, wonderful tracks!
Glad you like them!
Very cool that you actually performed this live! I also wasn't expecting the singing but it was a great surprise!
Thank you!!
I know everyone else already said it but it's really cool you actually pointed a camera at yourself and performed your pieces live. And harp is one of the coolest live instruments it could've been. I hope we get to see more stuff like this from you!
My favorite bit in the first track was with like *bass diad diad rest* repeat stuff at ~3:40
Aw jeez and then there's a vocal part in the second piece! Very evocative! Definitely full points for matching the theme, this feels like the truest theme song/credits/whatever I've heard from the jam so far.
Thank you!!
Wow, live performance ! What a surprise, and a rather inspiring one ! I really loved this "bubble" of authenticity.
Bonus point : I'm a sound technician, and I know how painfull harp can be to record ! GG !
Thank you! And yes, harps are challenging instruments all round really!
i would never have thought we would have a fully live performance, and recorded. Lovely job Sarah, I spent a really enjoyable moment in your company for sure! Thank you for making the effort of doing this live, it adds so much more heart than everything else I have heard. Amazing job!
Thank you so much!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
So cool that you played it live! You install a really good vibe besides :D
Thank you!!
Hi sorcha, I reached your music thanks to your participation in my post ♥
What can I say, your compositions are just... SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Also your music interpretation captivated me. So glad that I found you!
Can't wait to listen more about your music.
Wonderful OST!!!!
Thank you so much! And thanks for making the post too - it's so cool to find out how other people's creative process works!
Wow... I'm amazed... This is definitely one of the jobs that I will remember the best!
Your real and live harp playing is great! The voice is very beautiful! You have done a very sincere and high-quality job!
Thanks for the uplifting mood. Heh)
Thank you so much!!
Wow, this is beautiful and so impressive for being played in one take WHILE ALSO SIMULTANEOUSLY SINGING THE LYRICS!
The lyrics for the credits theme were great and reflected the picture theme so well.
Get this person some good equipment to record their voice on, this has so much potential with some mixing and reverb to be ethereal.
Thank you for sharing this, continue doing what you do!
Thank you so much!!
I think that professionally recorded, it could turn out to be a really beautiful piece of work. Just voice and harp is something different. Well done!!
Thank you!!
Lyrics to the song:
Come with me, we'll see creation curl,
what miracles we'll make, inside my world
Days are made for dreaming, wishes sigh,
white clouds and bright bubbles, in the sky,
hear giggles and hear murmurs, passing by,
what miracles we'll make, inside my world
Dance with me, our joy will be unfurled,
what wonder we will make, inside my world
Whisper all your secrets, watch them grown,
see flower petals spinning, watch the show,
such beauty to behold, to touch, to know,
what miracles we'll make, inside my world
Forget-me-not, the visions twist and twirl,
what magic we will make, inside my world
Grant yourself pure moments, time to rest,
tree leaves dapple darkness, come and find your quest,
in sacred space, pure heartbeat, you've done your best
what magic we will make, inside my world
Come with me, we'll see creation curl,
what miracles we'll make, inside our world
Come with me, we'll see creation curl,
what miracles we'll make, inside our world
Ooh, another vocal entry! Kudos for putting in the effort, I think there are only a handful of other submissions that feature vocals. I think Incidental Music has some cool melodies in it, and the harp work is pretty good! Always envious of those who can play such a wonderful instrument.
I like the chord progression in Closing Song, and for a dry mix with no post-processing I think it stands on its own pretty well. Accompanying lyrics in a PDF or even posted here in the submission would be a welcome addition! Just for following along and for reflection.
Thank you, I'm very glad you like it! I've added the lyrics as a comment here and on the project page, so people can read them - that's an excellent suggestion.
