Description
ProTools and Kontakt were the primary tools used during creation. The fluttering of the mallet instrument represents the path of the stars above, with the string sounds representing the hero cutting their path into the stars. I aimed to create a tranquil atmosphere while also driving the piece with energy. Fit for a bright and inspiring adventure game!

Message from the artist:
A story of a hero who believes in a destiny. They continue to gaze above and see the path laid before them when no one else does. They trek through any and all obstacles in order to succeed in their quest and achieve their greatest desire.

Theme:

Wish upon a star
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
The hero looks to the stars to see their way forward and make their deepest hopes and dreams come to fruition.

The solo cello sounds so clear - I love it! It makes me imagine the hero who is all alone, but is sure in their path. The mallets representing the stars fit very well with the piano in accompanying the strings. I also really like the downward piano arpeggios which feel like falling stars. This is a serene piece of music that I think meets your goals well musically. Great work and thank you for sharing!

Nice work on this one!  I like the sense of progression in your piece - nothing feels like it really is a repeat of a past section, and it flows naturally from place to place.

I enjoyed the way this track built up and the lovely melodies in the violin. Great work!

The sparseness of the instrumentation in the beginning reflects the immensity of the sky very well.

I feel like the violin really was someone with free will, sometimes changing his mind and direction. Looking back it perfectly fits your title, let's fortune guide the starpath!

Thank you for this nice poetic walk with the stars :)

You aimed to create a tranquil piece while also driving energy, and I think you nailed it. This would be awesome in a relaxed/chill adventure type game.

This is really pretty and dreamy. The percussion, string and piano combo works so well for this theme. Great work!

Hello fellow duck musician!

I like the playfulness in the start section, as if someone is dreaming of adventure. At 01:04 it gets a little more intense for a short time, as if they get up, ready to pursue that dream ,having a little repose at 01:38 before getting back up again, whereas from 02:16 the final leap towards their goal begins, as they finally succeed. :)

I feel there's really nice storytelling in this, achieved with relatively few colours, with each colour in the palette conveying something to the listener, staying recognizable throughout the entirety of the piece. That is quite a feat, nicely done!

Magical combination of strings and the mallet instrument, This is nicely put together. Very dreamy. Then the piano towards the end, great buildup!

This is lovely! I would love to hear this in a game, it's written so well and I love the attention to instruments and what their purpose is in the song. Great job!!
