finally i made more than 1 track for a jam, truly incredible
originally i was gonna have this be a more electronic style (reminiscent of celeste) and i even made 1 song in that style but in the end i decided to make it have a more acoustic sound, whatever u call this style
i made everything in fl studio 20 and most of the instruments in here r free stuff from spitfire labs lmao. and then a few instruments from pianobook (great website, insane amounts of free stuff).
my very vague idea for the game is that u play as a mysterious young traveler that is on a journey to save their little brother from a strange curse. they stumble upon a mysteriously alluring valley and is told by locals who reside in a small village at the top of a mountain overlooking it that it's supposedly enchanted. despite multiple warnings of the unknown dangers that lie blow, the young traveler decides to venture into the valley below, seeking both a cure and adventure.
each track matches something the traveler finds in the valley
track 1 - a peaceful, enchanted rock garden home to many creatures that seems to be something left behind by a long lost civilization
track 2 - an almost empty town beneath a large cliff home to only a few old residents that welcome you as a rare visitor and allow you to temporarily take shelter in one of the many empty houses there
track 3 - descending further into the valley, the traveler finds an increasing number of corpses, skeletons, and other remains of both humans other creatures. the traveler soon realizes that the magical phenomena of the valley seem to be connected to these deaths
track 4 - the traveler comes upon a dark cave that leads to the entrance of an underground palace and comes face to face with a giant humanoid creature wearing a torn up and bloodied king's robe
tl;dr traveler with cursed brother finds magic valley with weird things in it
