A definitely harrowing tale, I liked the different points of view used in the story. The ending was also a good "drop-off" point.
I am excited for you to participate next jam.

I was very impressed with this one - you crammed a lot of character and setting into a very short story without making it feel cramped. I think devoting so much space to Kryssa and Gril'gr at the start and giving their conversation room to breathe was a really strong choice; that, combined with the way you described the march, really added a lot of pathos.
I enjoyed the world building here, this could easily be expanded in both directions for a longer story!
