I did like seeing Orcs in a story where they aren't necessarily the bad guys. Would have preferred 'smarter' (like Mantic Deadzone Orcs) but I'll take what I can get.

A lovely little vingnette! Though, with the tall and short orc, along with Orcs being more pirate themed in GDF, I felt you missed a good opportunity for a Captain Hook and Smee reference. :P

The Book of NepentheI like that the story immediately sets itself apart from 40k and other sci-fi by having the Orcs involved in diplomacy. The conversations that help build up the world of Grimdark are really nice actually! And Muckstard is a great, great character and not one I will be forgetting anytime soon
