I love a good chase, and this one has all the hallmarks. A great dark fantasy story. Only one tense issue (where the bridge is) but I thought this story really flowed and was exceptionally clear.

I read this thinking "how is this consequences?!" and then BOOM, last paragraph. Really capped off a solid narrative! 

The theme felt a little shoe horned but other than that, it was a smooth, clean, enjoyable chase story

While "make ratmen go away" is not a unique conceit, the theme of consequences was well-woven into the macro- and micro-levels of this punchy little tale. I like very much.

Really good story! I didn't fully get the "consequences" theme, unfortunately, but the story is super well written and it's really entertaining!

I really enjoyed the action and tension of the story. I was really sitting on the edge of my seat.
