You had me at goblins

The little details in the writing are what make this, I think. There's a lot of really fun stuff with turns of phrase that set the tone and make it a fun read (and hopefully by extension a fun session!).

Favourite details: The fact that the hobgoblin's distinguishing feature -- such a miniscule thing -- is the only element separating them from the many other goblins out there is amazing. It works really well with the replacement system, and it adds another extra layer of goofy. Oh, and I love the trait Softy.

Would be nice to have: I wasn't totally clear at first that this was a multi-player game! I'm also not sure what the game structure is -- is there a Game Master? Maybe it's intentionally agnostic, and that's cool, but I was left wondering a little about the bones of the experience. Would be nice to have a tiny bonus sentence to set expectations.

I really like this! The tone and unique mechanics remind me of a lot of the one-pagers Grant Howitt makes (in a really good way). I can definitely see myself running this with one of my groups.

This reads hilarious, will be fun on a beer and pizza night, thanks!
