I like this game, it's simple but fun. I like the detail where every button press corresponds to a new line of code, that's pretty neat. The only thing I can really criticize is that the difficulty ramp up felt really sudden. Like, I went from sitting around waiting for those bugs to show up, to suddenly franticly pacing back and forth, both hands on the arrow keys like I'm in a old western shootoff with the bugs. But hey, it's not like that sudden jump in stress is that far off what real development feels like!

I wish bug fixing was this easy in real life! :-) The controls are nice and simple, making the game easy to pick up and fun to play.

Maybe if you weren't using vim..........just kidding! I use vim too, just not exclusively/religiously, since I spend more time setting it up  and customizing it than actually using it. Glad you had some fun!

this is great!, I LOVE the sprite work, also that when you move to shoot the character writes some code, gameplay is perfect, feels right at home in a nokia 3310

Wow! Such a fun game.
It feels like a game that could be on Nokia phones.
The attention to special details is awsome, like how the special power and how many shots I have shows up on the computer screen.
I'll def try to achieve a good high score.  What is yours?
We also made a unique endless game with a score system. If you tried it out, do tell me your high score. I would love for someone to beat mine.

Oh your game is actually one of my favorites for this jam! My personal best (for your game) is still at 64 (for now!)

Very fun game, good graphics and simple and addictive mechanics. I will definitely come back here to play a little more calmly later.
