We're new to making game jams so how was the game exported? Do we build the game in 84x48 and then scale it up? One thing I did with drawing the sprites was make them in 16x16, but export as 128x128 since it was a blurry image. Thanks
I am unfamiliar with Godot but yes you should build the game in 84x48 and scale it up to a viewable resolution. You should also ensure that your ui is scaling at the same ratio as the rest of the game. There has been some discussion in the discord concerning optimal Godot settings for this low of resolution so that may be worth checking out :)
I'm pretty sure this doesn't meet the resolution requirement for the game which is 48x84 or 84x48 pixels. Good job on a nice shooter though. Power ups are nice and the music is 1-bit sounds at least.
Our team had trouble trying to get the resolution to work properly with Godot. It would display like a sliver of the margins. We also did not get proper font, but thanks for the feedback!
