Your game made remind me immediately lemnings ! And that鈥檚 a very good inspiration, this is not commun. The result is a pretty puzzle platformer and that worked fine. My only complain is about the loop music maybe it鈥檚 not a good idea i think. Good job !
loved the mechanic! would be cool to have a way to speed up the timer at times. i think that could work well with the fast/slow theme. the sound stressed me out lol
I was planning on having Q be the speed up timer button so you aren't sat around waiting for potentially 8 seconds. I envisioned the theme of fast and slow being that the crab would sometimes have to wait in places (slow down) and the final crab would be moving the whole time to get to the end (fast)
Crabloop is a might fine game! Of particular note, I was pleasantly surprised when the exploding crab mechanic occurred for the first time. Very Fun Very good 馃憤
This game has a pretty cool gimmick, what with using your own past lives as stepping stones to get to the end. The later levels get pretty challenging and require you to really get good with the mechanics. Overall, a good entry, though the background music was pretty repetitive.
Really fun and unique puzzle game. I played through all the levels and I really liked the difficulty of the puzzles. The background music got really annoying after a while tho so I had to mute the game. But other than that this game was really nice!
Really unique game mechanic it was fun seeing all the different ways you can set your crabs up. Great job!
I really liked the idea. The puzzles were fun and not too hard, yet not too simple either. The music loop could be longer though.
Bugs found:
- The second swing level is completable but not in the intended way. - Hint: No "Jumping" is needed
- Player falling velocity is carried over into the next iteration, causing the player to fall through the floor. This requires a restart.
Edit: Bugs have been fixed and a WebGL version of the game has been created and will be uploaded post-jam
