Great job submitting a game! I like the idea of exploring the underground then going back up through the progress I've made to buy upgrades and dig further. As someone else pointed out, I think the game ends a little quick to be able to have the main loop kick in. One thing that initially confused me was not being able to dig up. I like what you did with the visual style and with the player vision restriction, I think the vision was my favorite upgrade.
One of my upgrades always needed to be the health / pick durability to actually win since I ran out so fast which only left one upgrade feel like a choice. I can see the potential and I had fun playing! Thanks for participating!
I think making the player find a part before being able to buy something limits the strategy. I can't tell if the first part is actually required to be in range, but it felt like even with an optimal strategy there'd still be a random chance of the game being impossible.
Pretty neat game. The graphics are nice and the I like the effect of only showing the content of nearby tiles. It felt a bit short to really get the digging/upgrading gameplay loop going though.

Neat game! though it is very challenging. I included it in my Nokia 3310 Jam 4 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I wasn't able to find more than two on a run, but cool concept and gameplay.
