Great job submitting a game! This is a really unique concept and a great twist on a space shooter. You really thought of everything with the upgrade menu, warning if something would get destroyed, saying in advance if there was no valid place for one. I was impressed.
It was really fun customizing my own ship and sometimes dealing with putting an upgrade I didn't want on it. Bombs were really underwhelming imo. Often they only killed one thing. Maybe the blast could be bigger. The game got a little stale near the end because I just spam fired and couldn't die. I stopped around 6k points.
I continued to be surprised with how many unique enemies still showed up in late levels. I love how the unlockable ships are just optimal builds that you might not get to make in a run with the barebones ships. Also I love all the references to nerd culture haha. Thanks for participating!
Really cool game! I love the idea of adding more and more junk to the sides of your ship to upgrade it, and it's implemented well too. There seems to have been a lot of thought put into the interface with things like helpful prompts to warn if placing a new piece will break an old one. Overall, great job!
My best score was 16584 (with Pong - just jammed tons of guns on the front)
Thanks! We got really excited about the idea of your ship getting uncontrollably larger through upgrades and trying to deal with that being one of the main challenges.
Very impressive score! People are far outdoing what I expected, might need to see if I can't do better, myself.
Wow, that's a very impressive score!! I myself struggle to get much higher than around ~2500. Fair if you think it got a bit boring towards the end, new enemy types stop spawning after a while.
There is definitely saving in the online version - as long as you use the same computer and browser, your unlocks and high scores should save.

thanks for coming back to review the game! It was a really fun concept to work with and a very well done game jam. See you again next year!
Challenging game. I included it in my Nokia 3310 Jam 4 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I got 10217 with zippy. I'd rather not play further though, cause it was getting kind of boring toward the end.
Unless this game saves in some way I'm not familiar with, I think it'd be better to have an offline version so the player can come back later.

Reminds me of Space Impact
Overall a ton of fun. Love how the upgrades work and being able to build my own ship. Nice job!
Thank you very much for the kind review :)
