  • The gameplay and concept were really unique and enjoyable! I liked the art as well, though it was simple -- I think the cutscenes really had a charm to them. The controls were smooth enough, and the game ran well. I wasn't sure how to lose -- it didn't feel like there was any actual punishment for not picking up debris, or at least, I didn't seem to encounter any. This made it a little less engaging for me, as I could also just sit there and wait for passing debris to hit me. I did get the theme of building connections, but I do wish it had been a stronger core of the narrative itself -- because all we have is the debris accumulating in the sense of building connections. All in all, a fun little game with unique mechanics (especially with upgrades)! Also, I would recommend spellcheck for the text (unless the misspellings were intentional -- I did think they worked for the tone).

Game concept is really cool!
Main thing is that there is a little bit too much of a downtime sometimes, where nothing happens!
But really cool :)

Liked the mouth sounds for the effects. Two things that stuck out to me were how sometimes when you reach out for a clump of garbage, it would shoot back toward you and sometimes miss the center clump all together. Having it fly off into space. Not sure if that was intended. The other thing was how sometimes the garbage would just naturally collect at the middle without even interacting with it with the tool. Again, not sure how intentional those were. But they threw me off just a bit.

Everything else was chefs kiss. Super smooth feeling.

you correctly picted the thigs that i didnt want to implement but Im complletly awere of them beeing there and Im in peace with that. They were nessesry for  the simplisyty of the code that I wrote. Sometimes I needed to compromize time over thigs like that . The missing the center come from the direcion of the asteroid it was just direction to the player rather than direction to the part of the asteroid that player was on and the naturally collecting garabge is from the generation of asteroids I just generete themin random position in certain distance to the center of map with random rotation to make them not randomly go to direction the of main planet I woud have to make a script that detrmine the rotation of asteroide  from position and I was to tired of thinking about mathematics.

Wow, that's a lot to take into consideration. I'm not a programmer so some of that message went over my head(like an asteroid) haha. I can appreciate that you were decisive enough to realize that and move through it to produce what is a pretty fluid game in the course of a week. Just a music guy here, but I appreciate the level of detail you programmers have to think to write these scripts. Learning a lot about the ins and outs of these games by talking with you programmers! Thanks for clarifying!

I love this game, it's addictive! The movement is so smooth and satisfying, and the sound of the asteroids is very cool.

Hey, don't really know how to use itch.io. But I played Kaalub and really liked what you did with the music.  You matched the vibe of the game so well with this music. Just wanted to tell you personally. Good work!

Really cool game! I like all the systems and it's very cool seeing the spaceship slide around the outside of the garbage heap. Unfortunately I suck and got in debt by month 3, but nice job!

Great game, I loved the movement around the trash piles that connected to your blob. The gameplay was really good for me and this game really fits the theme. Keep up the great work!
