The strafe mechanic was great and well appreciated in a game like this. Wished there was more variety in damage ranking among weapons as some enemies tended to feel like sponges.
Fun theme! Enjoyed the tile work quite a bit.

This was fun! I love how varied and responsive the enemies feel! I feel like I recognize the music from somewhere, is it the same as was in your submission last year?
Love the art and the overall polish. Shmups aren't usually my favorite genre but I enjoyed what I played. The spread gun feels sluggish to fire and the robot mech things felt like they took too many shots to kill. However, it's possible I'm just bad at the game. :)
Oh, and thank you for adding auto-fire. That was a great touch.
I love the art, it's nice to walk through an RPG like environment blasting bugs. Some of the weapon upgrades felt more like downgrades, and the wave difficulty felt kind of random. I liked having to choose between different paths in some sections, somehow I don't know why this isn't a more common feature, it's good. Great entry!
Thank you! Yeah Zoliononline knocked it out of the park with the art. The weapons are meant to be all equally viable - if you have a minute let me know if you feel I've nerfed any of them instead. And having checked out your itch.io page can I just say holy s**t do you have some cool projects! Thanks for commenting!
