Short but nice game! :) I think you captured the NES-feeling quite well! Though I think it would have been more in the spirit of the NES controller if you used your right hand for jumping (I suppose you can, but I found that I used the left thumb (PC style) instead :P).
Also, some of the pickups seemed to stay around after I collected them, only disappearing after I walked over them two or three times :P
Thank you! :D Yeah I found trying to capture that feel of NES Controller really hard with a keyboard, any other controls i tried just felt wrong to be honest.
And yeah I'm aware of that issue, couldn't fix it in time but i may update the project with a fix soon :D

got launched of a slope a few times while jumping, but other then that it was pretty smooth.
