How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
There is a timer running, the narration is that the PC is late ("out of time"), the organ is an important goal to get to both in asset and narration, there is also time- and organ-related music.

Good game! The dialogue are quite fun and intressting to the story, but since dying force your to replay them, a fast-forward option would be appreciated! The graphics are very well done! A good way to make them all combine well together is to add animations to nearly everything. Also a pixelated font would’ve worked well here! I liked the music - the organ isn’t an easy instrument to make a music of -. Great job on that! Gameplaywise, I could advice some kind of invincibilty time instead of being push back when hurted by ennemies - that way you can’t be one-shot even if you are in a weird hitbox place-, and having a stronger / faster jump where you can air strafe even if you don’t have an initial X speed.

Great job !

Thank you for your thorough feedback!
I'll relay it to the team 💪✨

Thanks ;)

Really nice game! The art is phenomenal and I really liked the story. Although the jumping mechanic could use some work ;)

Developer

Thank you for your kind words! ♥
We are aware of the player controller weaknesses :) We'll hopefully fix that in the future.

I can I believe you guys made this in only 3 days. It's so polished and thought out! This almost seems like an AAA game with the amount of polish on the pixel art but the fonts could use some work. The gameplay is pretty fun too. A great game overall!

Developer

Thank you so much! o-o
We had to use a lot of free assets for the backgrounds though, I wouldn't have been able to pixel all that in the time we had x) (I did do the organ and a couple of items though.)
It was already a bit tight bringing it all together, putting some colour grading on it etc xD
We honestly didn't put much work into the font, as long as it was well-readable (that's why I was also against using a pixel font, because I couldn't find a well-readable one.)

The story and pixel art felt very polished and something I could see in a fully-fledged indie release!

Developer

Thank you very much 🙏

The story and theming was lovely, and I was making it through alright. Then Teava yeeted herself vertically in the the sky and never came back. :'(

Was fun to smoosh some slimes tho!

Developer

Thank you!
I also encountered this glitch multiple times xD (The other team members didn't, somehow) It is what it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nice work! I think this has a lot of pieces that make it feel like it is on it's way to being a full-release game rather than just a jam game, but some of the core mechanics/controls could use a little bit of tweaking.

Very impressive for the time we had considering how many different elements you were able to fit in!

Developer

Thank you! ♥
The programming part is always the most difficult one in my experience x)
We hope to work on it a bit more in the future.

Lovely sprites! Cool setting and vibe. The controls were clunky enough I got frustrated while playing. Would also recommend having a "skip all dialogue" button. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your compliments! ♥
I also had a hard time with the controls tbh xD And totally agree on the skip dialogue button!
Our programmers didn't have the time to fine-tune the game during the jam, unfortunately.
But I'm still proud our team created something that works and has a start and ending :)
