Good game!

I enjoy the attention to detail: the slight visual noise effect (omg parrallax background!) and the double gameplay is quite clever. Although I must say divising the attention to two different place is quite challenging, and transform this platforming game into a strategy game of knowing where to focus and how much time to put into each action. Overall, even if some animations are missing to make everything smooth and fit togethers, the particules and differents effect there are is a very nice touch. The UI could use a bit of work, especially for the main menu scene, but the overall visual coherence of the main game mask it. Good game :D

Developer

thanks for the feedback! Yeah I never got a chance to update the ui beyond my first draft but I definitely would've liked to improve that aspect a lot haha

Exciting combination of platformer and rhythm game.
Sometimes gets me stressed, but that one is good.

Developer

thanks for playing, glad you had fun!

This was really fun! It was really hard to split your attention between hitting the notes and jumping at the right time, so I ended up switching between focusing on one or the other after the first level. Nice art and cute ghostie too!

Developer

glad you liked it! Yeah I decided against punishing for skipping notes to let people do exactly that haha

Interesting idea and well executed.
My only critique would be that it feels a bit too slow in the start.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for trying it out! Yeah I wanted to start it faster initially but the people who tested it for me didn't like that it started right away (because they always would miss the first note) and I didn't have time to implement a count-in for when you start a level which I think would have been an elegant solution. So I just made it slower at the start haha

Understandable! Hm, a count-in would be an amazing solution :)

It's like patting my head and rubbing my belly at the same time: tricky! It's a nice little rhythmic runner, would have played more levels!

My lack of hand eye coordination didn't help me, but I still had fun! Definitely had points where I got stuck and tried to give my little ghost the maddest of hops haha well done! <3
