Really cool concept!

Awesome game and I liked your take on the special object! Only complaint is that I wish I could drag ink in the torch's radius, because it made the drawing feel a little weird. Art, music and gameplay was good overall though, nice job!

The idea that torch can destroy obstacle by following a line your draw is great. If there are more puzzle or mechanics that extend from this idea will be a lot of fun!!

I'm glad you like it! We actually had a few more mechanics lined up in our project, but didn't have time to make levels with them. Post-jam we plan on adding more!

Great idea , looks very cool! Nice job ! (for no reason the first time I start the game my browser free and crash, but i got no issues for the second time)

Neat idea. Graphics are really well done and the sounds are great.

The drawing mechanic was a bit unintuitive to me, i kept trying to draw lines starting from the fire but it wouldn't work and only ignite if the mouse ended on the fire.

Developer

Thanks! You can see the previous replies, but I am trying to find a way to make the drawing work like you explained. Dealing with ambiguous meshes is hard in Unity :P

Nice art and audio. Good implementation of the special object, the mechanics with the torches is interesting, it's a shame that the stroke only works in one direction, from the wood to the torch, and not from the torch to the wood. Nice game!

Developer

I'm glad you like it! Even when developing it, we had that same feeling about strokes only working in one direction. Due to some technical difficulties (each line is a single mesh, and knowing where to start the flame from in case it gets lit is difficult unless the stroke ends on the flame) I wasn't able to implement more flexible strokes. However, I do plan on updating the game post-jam once I think of a workaround!

The idea is cool, the graphics are good the atmosphere of the game too. I understand the theme is you can't stop moving, but get a little frustrating to die cause you didnt resolve the puzzle fast enought. However, game is entertaing and good job overall.

This looks very cool! I really liked music and pixel-art. One thing, that my mouse drew the ink line not very accurate sometimes and I don't know: Am I doing something wrong or it's just happens?

Developer(+1)

Thanks! It wasn't explicitly explained, but you cannot draw on platforms or holes, only on walls. Could that be causing the inaccuracy?

Submitted(+1)

Yes, I think so! Heatboxes not always obvious, but now I can reach the top - really cool!

Super fun once I got the hang of it.
