Art and music were very interesting! I struggled a bit with the gameplay to be honest and i seemed to (almost always) get the same dialog out of NPCs. After i read the description i got the direction you were heading with your jam, keep it up and i'd love to play a future version again!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I don't know what's up with the dialogue. It definitely isn't as random as it should be...thanks for playing, though! Once the jam's over I think I'll revisit and refine the concept, it does seem like it would've had some potential if I hadn't messed it up lol

The visuals, music and concept match the theme well. I really LOVE the graphics. Big fan of pixel art here.  I love how even the dialogue is designed! The concept is really interesting and it seems like it could be a pretty good narrative/strategy-based game. I wish there was like an arrow or something to point to the place you'll go. I also think some darker tones or a few lights will set the tone and overall atmosphere better. I would love to play this game again when it is more developed. Regardless, this is a really impressive game considering it was made in 3 days.

Music was very peaceful, really contrasting the uhhhhhhh... rather violent treasure seekers haha. Art was lovely, fun game!

Developer

Yep, that's what happens when you spend too much time going around in circles trying to decide on the direction you want to take your game and don't spend enough time on sound design lol

My thought process: *drags and drops single music track onto game window* THEYRE ITS DUN

Initially the graphics are a bit confusing because i cant tell where a hallway is. I had a bug in one room where after talking to someone and killing them they did not disappear. So i was stuck talking to them over and over until i lost.

Developer

Thanks for the heads up! If the person you were talking to had a blue headdress on (like the player character), then that's a known bug that I'll fix after the jam has ended. I guess 'bug' isn't even the right term...I was just lazy and forgot to update that event lol

The music is so beautiful! Nice graphic style too. The game idea is interesting and needs to be developed! 馃榿馃榿馃榿

Thanks! That's the plan!

(though I can't take credit for the music, it was created by TK Project as a part of this pack --> https://store.steampowered.com/app/852994/RPG_Maker_MV__Urban_Slow_Piano_Vol1/)

Great art! Loved the title screen and the text/dialogue. Only complaint was that it was annoying having the same repeated conversation with everyone you ran into

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, that's actually just bad luck. There's four base conversations with some RNG to determine which one you get (I've tested it and gotten different ones, so I know it works lol). Sorry about that tho, if the jam were longer I would've made sure it didn't repeat :/

Developer

(I see what you mean, I've been getting a lot of repeats with conversations. It's probably a bug that I'll never get around to fixing lol)
