Art was awesome and the use of traps to kill enemies was a very nice twist!! I got stuck at the room with the golden statue and the switches, couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do but that could be just me! Overall very very solid entry and nice game crafting!
I didn't make it very clear. Put each switch facing right and then get the mummies to press the red pads and move on :)
Really good pixelart. I enjoyed watching the mummies fall to my tricks! I think some optional hints like a button or dialogue that will give you a small hint every puzzle would suit the game, just to make it a bit easier for the player to figure out(especially me). Still, I like the concept a lot. Thanks for making this!
Hmm. I feel like a room people are getting stuck on it the switches and spikes.
The switches is more just a lack of telling the player when things are good to go. Meaning you need to toggle each switch once and then the pressure plates. Once everything is in the on position the doors open. But i don't make it very clear when things are in the correct position.
As for the spikes. SPOILER - Its that a spike that just went up will never go up in the next round. So you sort of just have to keep moving.
I loved the concept of the spike puzzles, and the trick was satisfying once you figure it out! I agree with some other folks that the longer spike fields were a bit too difficult to get through. The art is also really great. Great work!
Thank you! I wanted it to be hard, but maybe after playing it so many times i got better at it haha.
I'm not really sure how it is a rougelike, but the game is pretty fun up until the spike field. It just seems a bit too chaotic, and I'm not really sure where the player or spike hitboxes are. The art is really well done, and the rest of the level design is pretty solid. Great work y'all.
it ended up not really turning out that way i guess. As for the spike traps there is a pattern but its a bit of a trick. I don't want to spoil it too much haha.
Liked the animations and the sprites are really cute! Very nice!
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Think I about gave up on the huge spike areas haha, but even still a pretty cool idea that looks great!
Thank you! There is a bit of a trick to it. That i don't want to give away.
Very neat and challenging game. The art was really nice. The last level puzzles me though. I passed it because I was lucky with my dashes, but I can't see how to solve it normally. Is there a pattern that the spikes cycle through? Or is it just random?
its semi-random, but there is a sort of trick to get through.
Cool stuff! The room with the switches confused me, I think it could be more clear what the solution is there. Also, I found that I could stand between shooting arrows without them hitting me and also between spike squares and not be hit. But I love the pixel art! Great game.
Thanks!!
Cute (and hard!) game, but the limitation isn’t very obvious without reading the description. Good job for the artist, btw!
Thanks!
Thank you!
Good game ! I enjoyed it! The art is good ! Can you please check out my game because it has no ratings. It's under the comment. Thank you!
id suggest making a webGL version of the game. More people will play it!
I love the art in this! Last room was tough though. Good work :)
Thanks! Was very fun doing the art!
