It really shows you're experienced with your software and very talented. Great job and incredible graphics. The emerald/ruby/whatever grab sound FX's level was kind of a jump scare to me compared to the ambient music's level hahaha. I followed you for future support and I'd be delighted to have some feedback on our game if you get a chance to play it ! ! :)

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, sound effect is way to jarring, thanks for the reminder. Going to update to something way more subtle. I will def check out your stuff! Thanks for your feedback.

This is an incredible game wow !  I wasn't expecting to see a full 3D game in a jam like that !

I don't know if you can fiw this somehow and I might be the only person sufffering from it but somehow the game made me really nauseous.

But otherwise, yes the game is really impressive !

Developer

Thank you! Interesting to know that the game made you nauseous. Thanks for sharing that. I will keep that in mind when for future updates.

Very nice-looking game with great ambience and music! Though the gameplay could have used a bit more polish. I tried shooting fireballs and the snakes and that didn't seem to do anything, so I walked past them instead and it seems that was fine.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, totally, just ran out of time before dealing. As far as the game, I'm super stoked with what I was able to get in place by the deadline and now will have a nice solid framework for a fun side project I can polish up. Really appreciate you checking it out and providing feedback!

This game is GORGEOUS!  Took me a while to realize you can grab the torch from the wall haha.  I couldn't figure out how to make it past the big block in the hallway though.

Neat idea!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, need to flesh out the hints yet. To get past the block, equip the ankh with key 1 and focus the beam on the block. while focusing on the block, hold left shift and run towards the block to push it. Thanks for checking it out!

Had some issues with lighting once inside the sphynx where I couldn't see anything :/

Developer

Thanks for checking it out! Yeah, you have to grab the torch off of the wall at the beginning of the level. :)

Submitted

I had the torch! The room did not light up.

Developer (1 edit)

Ohhh! That sucks! Thanks for the heads up, I’ll take a look. Curious, which quality settings did you pick? (might help me troubleshoot)

Submitted

Hmm what ever the default is. When i entered i got the torch and nothing really lit up. did i need to be "using" the torch?

Developer

No, it will automatically equip. Gonna look into a bit later today, thanks for your feedback!

I had the same problem. I used the default quality (which seems to be Very Low) and the torch barely illuminated anything. Putting it on Medium fixed it, though!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, thanks for the feedback. Didn't realize this was an issue, so I'll be fixing this soon! :D
