Nice, quick, and fun! Add a few more challenges, like some darts or something, and you could go for full release! Also, is the tower procedurally generated?

Really fun to play, I like the mood ^^ A smaller hitbox would be nice !

Nice art style. Would have loved to see some animations. :)

But other than that, solid gameplay. Just a bit too liberal on the collision detection for the spikes. ;)

And I made it to the top, yay! :D

First off, the music is amazing, and I really liked the concept. However as KaaSnake said, I found it strange that UP wasn't jump even though W was. I also think the collision with the spikes was a bit wonky because in spikes are pointing straight up, you wouldn't really get hurt from touch the side (that's not too important I just died a couple times from that)

And I really liked the rising acid!

I'd say this is a fine little platfomer. It provides some decent challenge with some of the precision jumps with the spikes at the end. I did think I left the rising acid behind a little bit too easily...

Also, for some reason, both A and D and the Left and Right Arrow Keys can be used to move left and right, but only the W key works as jumping. I thought it was weird, but it's not too much of an issue.

Some more presentation notices:

  • The spikes could look more prominent - the first time I walked into them thinking they might be part of the scenery
  • The player character could use some walking and/or jumping animation to look more lively
  • Some of the pixelart seems a bit blurry? You could check the filter for the images is set to point/none
