I love a good House of Leaves reference :) this is super atmospheric and the puzzle element is fun, awesome job!

Developer

Thanks! It took me a while to realise I was basically making a House of Leaves game, but once I did I just went all in on it. Glad you liked it, and glad you recognised the reference.

cool time killer puzzle. Rotating would be nice since the elevation differences can sometimes make it hard to see where exactry you need to go.

Are you being eaten by the plants? They cannot see me because they will get angry.

Developer

They just hold you in place until the bigger monster comes to finish it. Or until you manage to break free.

Hey, once you figure out the dodge mechanic can be used to bridge gaps the game becomes quite addictive for such a simple concept. Would like to see possible WASD or arrow key input added, aside from that really good submission!

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks! I originally used arrow keys, but mapping those to isometric directions gets very confusing. Maybe I can figure out something with WESD controls.
