everything looks and  feels great. reminds me o f an arcade game  I used to love to play back in the 80"s, Star Castle arcade game. OMG I used to spend all my ice cream money on that game when I got to mall. then go beg my big sis for some of her ice cream lol . those were great times!

Graphics are clean, gameplay feels nice, and your use of the limitation was pretty clever, wish I remembered that!

Good game.

Very fun and visually polished. I feel like the movement isn't normalized, right?

Definitely one of the most cohesive entries in the game. Such a well polished game for the limited timeframe. I'm super impressed. I love the UI, the slight grittiness of the art, atmospheric music, the camera shake, all the various upgrades you managed to slot in.. You've basically made a prototype for what could be a commercial game.

Now because it's very good and perhaps the best game of the jam, I will chime in with my criticism >:) I agree with Dave, I think SFX was the weakest part and the game ramps up too slowly. I want more bass on those bullets, more feedback on hits. I love when wave games go absolutely bonkers, and when the upgrades are visibly OP. The upgrades in this game feel subtle, and hard to notice. For a game jam I think it's important that you showcase the potential of your gameplay as soon as possible, even at the risk of creating balance issues. Examples: Make bullets much larger, make bounces noticeable via trail effects, add more contrast on the black hole and ya know what make that thing bigger too. More enemies with stronger upgrades to offset the increase in difficulty.

Now here is where I have to remind myself that it was literally a 72h jam. There's only so much you fit into that timeframe! On some games I may omit criticism, because I see how the timeframe affected them.. but for yours it's so good already that it's easy to forget you did this in a weekend haha.

Very strong entry to the game jam, very fun to play once you get into it and the graphics look very nice.

Music was pretty interesting but I’d love to hear more sound work considering the polish that has gone into every other aspect of the game, from the UI to the power ups. Even the visual branding on itch.io served the game very well.

Maybe the game starts off a little too slowly, I had to stick with it for a while before I could start to enjoy it. At least the game is very easy to learn to play, its clear that shooting reduces the health by one and you get regenerated ammo when some enemies drop ammo or you restock it.

Well done, super strong effort 🔥

Super fun, spent so long playing it and the effects and everything was really cool to see, at the end I was pretty much making blackholes with every shot, and the wave system was really cool, they went from increasing in health to also increasing in speed.  10/10

So polished! So juicy!! Super great entry :)

I really enjoyed the precise nature of the first round where I felt like I had to use every piece of ammo sparingly. I longed for that in the later rounds but that might just be me :)

I also thought that the tradeoff mechanic (health for bullets) could be fun to highlight in the store as well, so players would have to bet more on how good they are in order to purchase something. I would def be the person to think I could totally get by with just 1 health and buy as much as I can :)

This is probably the juiciest entry in this jam. I had to pull myself away after a while because it was way too fun to just keep going to the point I was in 7 digits of score XD. Amazing game!

Interesting game!

Beautiful visuals and cool idea with space. Good soundtrack. Overall a good job for the time that was given!

It fit the theme in the most unique way humanly possible!

Nice game! Had a really cohesive art style, and I really liked how core to the game the use of the limitation was, with how many different uses the singular bullet resource had. I think my only recommendations would be to make it a little more clear that after the shop that you'll regain bullets (and maybe how many), and also how much health enemies have left (maybe something simple like fading them out as they lose health). Overall, great job on the game!

The interface and the game look great. I loved it.

so, is very clear that the art is awesome.

a very simple concept, a very simple way to make the concept work well.

although i played with the pad of my notebook so it was very hard (i coudnt even pass wave 1 because of how many enemies are thrownd at once).

but i like it, is very simple but very well executed.

although, coudnt the first wave be a little bit easyer.

Wow, the visuals are so polished. And the vibe is great. I love it!
Also the thing that the bullets are using your health - makes it intance.

Great job!
Also the menu and UI in general looks really nice ❤️

The only thing that enemy increases their health was unsatisfying.
I bough damage up multiple times and expected to destroy them all. But it felt like this perk increases their lives or decreases the damage instead of increasing it 😅
