Use of the limitation
I implemented the literal meaning of limitation. Dashing in this game, gives you a solid speed boost and also reloads your gun. This incorporates two functionalities with one button

Cookies eaten
I don't really eat cookies, crackers or sweets but I do eat nature valley bars with oats every morning.

Great game , the art is cute and fun

Hey! The theme is not “calm before the storm” ;)

Kidding aside, that’s a very nice game with good polish and beautiful art!

An engaging, beautiful, and fun game. I enjoyed it! The effects and sound are also top-notch! Well done!

hey man I'm glad you had some fun with it :D.

Cool game! It's an interesting use of the limitation, I think if you forced the player to dash to reload rather than doing it automatically it would make it a bit more interesting. Well done though

that's a good suggestion, in hindsight I wish I thought of it. I appreciate your comment :)

I'll definitely check out your game when I get home.

Very fun! I loved the art, but I felt like I wanted to collect something as well. I was so close to 500 but I just missed it T^T The art is beautiful and it felt very intuitive.

thank you for the feedback :) I won't lie. I might have spent a bit too much time on art and animations. Yeah actually I should've made enemies drop something like a coin that you can collect and maybe you can use those to upgrade weapons or power ups/abilities. Thanks again for the comment!

Fun game. The limitation was fun to use with dashing around the map and then shooting things. Got a score of 760 before dying (cause I was having too much fun dashing around that I ended up jumping into some enemies.) UI is clean and easy to use / read and I love having the home base in the middle with instructions. Not quite sure what happens when you get a score of 500.

Hey I appreciate you checking out the game :D . Yeah once you get to 500 you unlock a new gun and you can switch guns by pressing Q. I probably should've mentioned that somewhere. Yeah I should've made sure to fix the spawning system to make enemies spawn outside a certain range. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
