It was really fun and an unexpected use of the theme which I really liked! It was one of the most interesting games I've played in the jam and I like the simplicity. Well done! The small details like the gum having varying colors is a nice touch, the controls are also very tight and it feels smooth to play.
I got 1700 but stopped because I had to go. Maybe if there's a requirement you need to collect that gets higher as you go it could keep it exciting. It's easy to leave early after collecting one or 2 coins and avoid all the danger.

the bending arm will forever haunt me. good work on the game though! very unique mechanic :)
This is hilarious!!! I was literally laughing out loud when the arm looped around itself lol. It was super addictive trying to get my points back after a bad run. I also didn't notice the map until I saw a comment about it, but it's a really creative timer. GJ!!

Yeah I agree, I really wish I had made the timer more apparent (especially because I love how it turned out)
I think what would have helped me notice it would be a colour change, green to yellow to red for example!

It's a good use of the theme. I kinda wish there were more obstacles, maybe a couple moving ones. Also maybe making the bar more noticeable/a tutorial showing it so the player can pay attention to it could help a bit.
This is hilarious and creepy, and I had a TON of fun playing it. You did a great job making it feel complete and challenging, and it was really satisfying to be able to rack up more money. I liked how the levels changed each day I came back to the arcade. I had to play for a bit before I realised why I was dying (the owner walking around) while you did mention it in the intro scenes I didn't really notice that timer. However, once I did I thought it was a clever way to incorporate a time limit! Maybe just some speeding up music or blinking light would help draw attention to it. Very well done :) !
I'm so glad you had some fun from it! I really enjoyed developing the obstacle generation - trying to keep a level of difficulty without being unfair or game breaking. As well as, how well all my drawn assets turned out :D I just wish I had made my map timer more visible, and some audio queues would've really helped. I think our main character needs to get their hands checked out. Great take and execution on the theme and limitation. I only wish the map was a bit more apparent, didn't even realize it was there until like halfway through playing lol.
Could definitely do with a warmup beforehand, although I wouldn't want to over do it:P
Yeah, I really would've liked to spend some more time on the UI, especially the map because I really enjoyed making it:)

Loved the twist on the limitation. This was a fun little puzzler and I liked the use of the map/boss coming back rather than a timer on the round. Cool idea well executed.
