Thank you trying it out!

Very true! There definitely needs to be more of an incentive to remain in the machine,  with more of a risk/reward feeling. I'll have to think of something :D Thanks again for the feedback!

It looks like my idea of some pocket money limit/goal needs to be implemented too:p

Oooo I like that idea

I'm so glad you had some fun from it! I really enjoyed developing the obstacle generation - trying to keep a level of difficulty without being unfair or game breaking. As well as, how well all my drawn assets turned out :D I just wish I had made my map timer more visible, and some audio queues would've really helped. Thanks again for playing, and for leaving great feedback!!

Ahah thank you so much! Glad to hear you managed to get the most out of your >pocket money<!

Yeah I agree, I really wish I had made the timer more apparent (especially because I love how it turned out)

Thanks!!

Thank youuu!;)

Thank you very much!

Thank you!!!

Could definitely do with a warmup beforehand, although I wouldn't want to over do it:P

Yeah, I really would've liked to spend some more time on the UI, especially the map because I really enjoyed making it:)

Thank you for trying it out!

Incredible concept, really enjoyed putting together perfectly edible fish. Was getting pretty hungry at my task:P

Really fun game, love the graphics, and the whole idea of bringing back cows to the mothership:P

Nice game of Go Fish with some silly sound effects, very well done!

Love the music, thought it complimented the madness:p

Wonderful art style, with almost an eerie vibe with all these hooks emerging from the clouds:P I got to around 80 before it got pretty intense... then I got hooked:o

Really clever concept and really pretty art style! Love it!

Fantastic plot, really nice presentation, and fun gameplay! Think I spotted a little portal reference too

Great concept, and I really like the comic drawn art style! With some music which sells it!

I really like the fishing minigame, and the pixel art is really nice!

I really like the direction you chose for this theme, and your art style really compliments it!

Really nice level design, some very fun gameplay, and music to match!

Really love the minimalist art style and the small window UI, it really fits the aesthetic.

The best catch I had was 560m!

Really nice work! I also enjoy shooting my fish out the sky:P

Love the art style and effects. Really enjoyed filling the room with critters, then jumping about the place before escaping the cave! Great work!

Some really great level design, with really nice progression. From learning the basics to the double jump, to the teleports. Nice work!

(1 edit)

I love the concept, seeing this (very) cool fisherman bust a move. Testing your rhythm to the beat as you catch fish with your powerful moves:P I was missing most of my moves, but managed a final score of 137, 340

Thank you ever so much! I agree, it's way too small (for being one of my favourite elements), I definitely would've spent some more time arranging the UI if I could.  As well as some background imagery during gameplay, not to mention the play area still needs sides!! But there'll always be lots of improvements I'd like to make to the game. Thank you once again for spending the time to leave feedback!

Thank you so much! Aha I really had a blast drawing them:P

Thanks for the feedback! The map indicator might be my favourite part aha (A great late night idea too)

Thankyou for the review!

Jeez, thankyou! I might make a fuller version sometime soon, with audio, better graphics, more items to look for, and some other stuff

Thankyou very much for the review! and I felt the same way about the contrast of graphic styles, it doesn't look quite right, but I just left it as a sortof filler.

Thanks! I might just do that!

I understand what you mean, because of the way I'm increasing difficulty over-time I couldn't find a method of switching states in a smoother way, but thanks:D

Aha nice one! Thanks, I just tried to throw something together that kinda fitted the theme. I didn't get to spend much time working on the Jam. But thanks:D

Nice

Sure, I'll try

Make it start in like 10-30 mins!
