i love the way you represented the Christmast time and the music.I would add an elf to represent better but it is a good game which follows the game jam`s topic.Congratulations

Fun and charming little game in the spirit of the season. I had an issue where the presents would bunch up on the first conveyor belt, but I like what you were going for, and that's a great setup for a fun little game.

Developer

Thanks for playing & feedback, someone else had a similar issue but I cant recreate it. Maybe the browser or device impacted it, could you share what browser you played on?

Submitted

I played in Chrome as the game wouldn't load in Firefox.

Developer

I had playtested in chrome as well and cant seem to recreate it. If you revisit the page do the boxes still do that?

Charming and a bit enjoyable, though I found it a bit boring after the second attempt. There is a point where it stops ramping up and it just becomes a test of endurance, which can be fine but to me this instance it was boring to the point I dissociated and went into full auto pilot.

I would've liked to see more ramping up, and maybe a list of future presents so that farther on we could go faster. I didn't really like the controls, I suppose it's meant to give a more kinaesthetic feeling in where you feel like the robot by virtue of the buttons being different hands, but I personally have trouble keeping my hands in certain positions and having to keep both index fingers outstretched and the rest still exacerbated that, I would've liked for it to be simple arrows or "ad," but that's a personal opinion.

Other than that, I initially didn't understand how the game worked, I thought the pointing did nothing until i failed on purpose. More feedback would've helped, I thought I was supposed to sort incoming presents, not send them in the first place.

Overall, nice game!

Thank you for playing and appreciate all the feedback. I can see that it would feel a bit numbin after a while as the difficulty eventually caps out. I was unsure how far to push the difficulty for players since Ive made games too hard before. Also initially did have the controls AD but I thought it was neat to have you controlling two ends of the keyboard like the two ends of the conveyor belts. Definitely not something players are used to though. I agree with having more direction and feedback to start, ill work on that for future jams. Again thank you for your thoughts and feedback :)

Love this game, your 3D conveyor belts are definitely a step above my own 2D ones. The music added a lot of charm, as did the robots overwhelmed fail animation.  A lot of fun to play and really simple controls

Engaging music and cool visuals. I also loved the Xmas themed environment.
I don't know if it's just me but all packages got stuck on the central treadmil xD

Developer

Thanks for playing and feedback. Haha I hadnt seen that happen before xD Did the game function properly or did that mess things up?

Submitted(+1)

No problem :)

The game functioned well, I just find funny the fact that the packages got stuck hahaha

Can I ask you how do the treadmills in the game work? How did you manage to make them move the packages?

Thank you!

Developer

Theres colliders that trigger when the boxes connect with the belts. The boxes move depending on which belt its connects with. Theres a string identifier with each belt to let the boxes know which direction to move.

I love this game!! Super charming, and somehow I get into a zen kind of zone after a while (I sort of get a similar feeling when attempting the 100 super jump challenge in Super Mario RPG). Also fit the theme and limitation very well. Awesome job!

Love to see a holiday themed game in this jam, this really had me feeling the festivities! The gameplay is very simple but is presented in a very dynamic way which makes that simple gameplay very enjoyable. I especially love the dancing robot
