Very nice! Enjoyed the gameplay for about as long as it lasted!
-- until the game started laggin on 2nd level, which made it impossible for me to complete it.
(not completely, but after dying 1-2 times, I was prompted to give up because it'd take a lot to get back to where I was)

Well, it seems that there is still a limit to browser speed. :c

I checked the issue and it is mainly because of collision checks (there are too many itty-bitty tiles that should be calculated) and some advanced AI magic. It is indeed more applicable to the second level than to the first/third.

Also it seems that Chrome runs the game faster than Firefox.

I'm on chrome. I'd be interested in downloading the game to play it whole if you post a .zip :D

Developer

Ok. I'm currently optimizing collisions in my engine, so it should be much faster the next time.

The game can be downloaded with the itch.io app and be played offline. My editor can't pack games to executables yet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Pretty good looking game with lots of features. Good job and thanks for sharing. I had a hard time getting out of docking but maybe because i am not used to ship controls. It's cool too that you had a puzzle section.

Great entry! This game has a healthy balance of exploration and "AHHH DON'T DIE"
