Ooh, I really like your implementation of the lethality of blood limitation! The blood maze feature is very interesting! The maze itself was a little on the small side for me because I at first really started to panic with the quickly-approaching vampires (haha~). Still, I really enjoyed that on-kill blood maze mechanic, it felt like their revenge for us slicing their heads off, hehe! On a related note, I also really liked the visuals (the cutting animation especially is really nice) and the UI, it feels really clean! Nice job!! ^^
I loved your game.!!! Very fun and an awesome concept. Way to go!!
Nice concept, was a unique one!
Pretty unique concept, even if it took a bit of time to figure out how the slicing mechanic works. I love the Vampire drawing!
thanks, vampire is taken from here https://opengameart.org/content/vampire-animations
This is definitely the most unique interpretation of the limitation so far, i LOVE it! I didn'tg understand the mechanic at first, but when i did it was amazing. Sure, the game could use some refinements, but considering it was done in just 3 days, you did a great job, keep it up! btw check out my game too if you have spare time, I'd love to get some feedback!
I think your blood concept is very unique, however, the implementation needs some work. The maze always starts with the cursor on the left side and even though there is an opening to the left, I still take damage if I do that. This leads to the player continuously moving to the right. I think an easy fix for that would be to have the cursor generated in the middle of the maze and make both the left and right exits viable. That way the player can choose whatever exit makes the most sense.
The enemy generation rate is also too quick IMO. I get absolutely swarmed in under a minute. Even if you want the game to be challenging, I would ease the curve of the enemy generation rate just a bit. You likely got very skilled at the game during development, but remember your audience is brand new to it.
Overall, great use of the limitation, just needs some refinement. Thanks for your game!
Thank you for your comment and suggestions! I agree about maze positioning, had same thoughts after submitting. As there is not much of gameplay just made enemies spawn quickier until it is impossibe to beat.
