i like the art but even with the tutorial it was confusing

nice game!

Developer

Hi,

you need to find a secret list to know which creatures are good and bad.

Thanks for playing.

Oh ok thanks!

It was very intense, but I felt like confused to choose the right character xD.

Developer(+1)

Yes, that's a bit hard to find out.

When you kill a good creature, you loose a life so you know it was a good creature.
And there is a secret list with information that helps you hidden somewhere.
If you're able to find the link that gets you to the secret information, it'll be easier to know who's good and who's bad! :)

Thank you for playing!

Submitted(+1)

Hahaha, that link.
Yeah I found it, but it still hard to me, cause a lot of creatures and hard to know the color different. Great idea btw!

Well done!!

Developer(+1)

Lol.

Thanks.

The game is really nice, even if I have a little difficulty in this kind of memory retention games XD.Art is looking really good . Well done!

Developer

I'm glad you at least found  the list to memorize!
Yes, I might add some features that help you memorize during the game which creatures are good and which evil.
To make it a bit more accessible.

Thank you for playing!

Wow ! That's a dramatic game x) Did you do the art ? If so well done that's really cool ! I think the biggest issue for is the lack of player return, for exemple if I destroy them why don't they explode ? or something like that, because even if you know what you are doing (I have found the secret room! I'm very capable) I still don't know if what I am doing is a good thing or no, so I can't learn and I don't feel satisfaction. But it's a good idea, I think with more juices it could be really fun to swap between crews and everything !

(and I noticed the halo of light in the leaderboard and the menu, that's really really cool.)

(ps : I send you  a message on discord about your issue with my game!)

Thank you very much !

I'm glad you see it as dramatic!

So I thought about having the creatures shot and explode when you destroy them, but before the deadline it seemed risky to make it happen. It's part of the core game mechanics and if I wasn't able to make it work before the deadline my game could be bugged.

I thought about adding flashing lighting bolts and explosions when destroying, but it might take some time to implement.

For now when you destroy, the orb and the light and avatars change, and the creatures get attracted to the blue orb instead of the yellow one. So you weren't sure sometimes if you were destroying or integrating right?

Also one challenge of the game is that you don't know if you destroyed/integrated correctly. So you will have to rely on your memory or intuition! (Well done for finding the secret page)

Oh no, I didn't do the graphics myself haha. In one week? 😱No, I used assets! 😉

Developer

Btw. I added the mechanics for shooting the enemy and they explode, or rather implode.
Now  you see easier if you integrate or destroy a creature.

Cool game, i didn't undestrand propely why somethimes i lose a life, but i like it

Developer (4 edits) (+1)

Thank you!

Did you do the tutorial first to understand how it works?

You can lose a life e.g. when you pick the wrong character, or when at least 50% of your crew is bad creatures ...
