Great job in the artistic part! Would like to play it with some music. Constrols are good on the keyboard, but way better with a controller, especially the wall jump. Also noticed that the up and be buttons of my D-pad would actually move the character left and right, I don't think it is intended. Good job!

Thanks so much Falcon! We definitely have learned how important time management is during this jam. Even if the next project is smaller in scale, we want to hit all of those points as well. My friend is currently refactoring this project and I’m going to go over some of the assets so we can get a slightly polished version released since the jam is over.

Thank you for the opportunity. This was a blast!

I had some difficulties with the wall jump, but the game was nice. I particularly like the work on the golden background (top of the pyramid?) which was very unique, I think you should dig this art direction if you want to continue because it is very original and gives you a strong feeling of mystery! Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm terrible at wall jumping from the right hanging position but left tends to work okay for me. I chalk it up to keyboard controls for now... lol. When we implement joystick controls I'll make sure to post an update.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the tileset! I had absolutely no idea what I was doing but in the end I was happy with how it turned out. My only complaint was I wanted separate tiles for each different area but that will have to come later or on the next project ;)

Main character sprite looks really great. He is a bit rough to control. Also your spike traps mocked me.

Thanks!! We definitely plan to get controller support. A must have for a platformer. Unfortunately we weren’t able to have it implemented in time. Spikes are jerks...
