Great idea!

The controls (keyboard) are very hard to manage and the stakes for jumps are pretty high sometimes 😅 maybe it would make it easies if the jump direction would stay the same if you release the direction keys 🤔

Nonetheless, I had fun playing it! Congrats on this entry!

I think the idea of a metroidvania with the movement that you have is very interesting! But in it's current state I found it more frustating than anything else (maybe because I was on keyboard, and it looks like it would feel better with a controller).
I think with a bit more tweaks to the level design it could be a lot more enjoyable!

Okay so this is very interesting. I really love the idea of a Jump King / Splat metroidvainia. Though without mouse control and only on keyboard this was too frustrating to actually play. Watching someone playing it is fairly funny, however.

I did try it with controller, but in both forms I kept running into a frustrating bug that led to my character being forever stuck in a rolling orb form.

The Controlls are a bit weird at the beginning but I like the overall idea.
