Wow, the movement abilities in this game are super fun! I honestly wish it was longer just because its so enjoyable boosting and swinging around. At least there are secrets to find as an excuse to explore a bit. The lack of sound is a shame, but otherwise the presentation is pretty solid.
Thanks so much! Despite running out of time for the design, I feel I made something pretty fun. I can't wait to continue this project!
It's unfortunate that it became rushed near the end, I enjoyed the grapple and would have liked challenging rooms that could have utilized it more.
yeah, it’s disappointing that I ran out of time to make the full vision I had wanted, but I plan on making this a full game, so there will definitely be more opportunities for great platforming challenges!
Controls are a little bit sticky and slow, I think the momentum building of walking is what's making it feel like that for me. Otherwise, I enjoyed the gameplay, though I would often forget to reposition the mouse due to the lack of a cursor. You might want to make a game specific one that is more visible on the screen
I definitely plan on a custom cursor for the final game, and I will definitely try to get the controls better. Thanks for the feedback!
gameplay could be a ted more dynamic and I am personally no fan of mouse and keyboard mixed controls. But else it is a nice game especially considering that you did it all by yourself. I would also appriciate it if one kept the upgrades when dying.
yeah, the ending of development was really rushed, and I missed a lot of the polish I wanted. It’s a not great demo, but I wanted to get something out, so I could get peoples feedback. Thanks for your feedback!
