This game made really happy!
You built such a vibe with this game, it's crazy how good the art style is, model's animations were incredibly good, music was really well selected and consistent and your UI worked very good to show the controls. All of these elements matched in a precise style and essence that your game brings and makes it so unique.
I laughed with the end credits and the story was simple but complements the game experience in a good way.
It would be easy to say that the game pace was slow, but it depends on the focus that you want for it. In one hand adding more strategy systems to the combat could justify the way you designed it. On the other hand, if you want your game to keep working the same, maybe increasing the speed of the moves and the characters would help to increase the fun.
It's important to give the player a feedback about his actions. If you hit an enemy, a knockback or a sound may help to make clear that you damaged it. Same applies for the player's damage, moves and attacks of everyone.
With more time and a clear focus, this game could be even cooler. Keep doing it great, this concept can evolve into something incredible. You have the idea and the style, now you need to polish the game.
Great job!

This game made me mad. The potential knows no limits here!

First things first: It's great. It's really great. But as raw as a diamond can get. I love beat em ups so this is a perfect entry for me. But in this state it hurts to play, because you can see traces of a really good game.

The good things: I absolutely love the main mech design! The levels were cool. I liked the story and humor. And it is always nice to see good 3D games made in Godot!

The things which made me mad: Combat is too "spongy", not crisp at all. You mash punch and that's it. No real feedback from the enemy, no real satisfaction. There is no real difference between kicking, punching, or throwing cars at your enemies. The moves sometimes did not work. You mentioned, that you have to backdash, but even the backdash sometimes did not work. When the player health reached zero, I was still alive.

I suggest you go to your "Spar" market and buy a couple of liters of juice, because the game really needs it.

Don't get me wrong: the base is brilliant. I had fun. But I couldn't stop imagining how the game could look like. It is probably due to time constraint as always. I imagine you were even more tired than the tired frog in the credits. I would have loved if you switched focus on the first level alone and made the combat more fun, but the story was really nice. I dig that kind of humor! I suffer with you guys here :')

It would be super cool if you continue to work on this game. If so, I wish you best of luck!!

Nice style! It seems I can't die even when I run out of health. I also think that the attacks should feel more responsive and punchy too.

Yeah we absolutely ran out of time, this was just a stop gap measure to make it at least completable, once the voting period is over we're going to begin updating the game so it's in a more finished state.

You have a really cool visual style, but I don't get it, the enemies don't seem to do any damage even though they have an attack animation.

It is a really unique artstyle, the slideshow cutscenes have a classic charm to it. I really like the kick animations amd, specially, the casual dropkick from the bigger enemies, which is hilarious.

You can actually complete the game just casually walking past all the enemies, and somehow the boss got killed instantly just by walking closer to the hole right after its intro.

For things to improve, I would say the hit detection, since when two enemies are standing right behind another, sometimes the one taking damage is not the one in front of you, but the one in the back. And add some feedback to tell the player wether they are hitting or not.

And lastly, I am also hyped for the Naked Gun remake thing.

This entry is secretly a gem for me. Good work!
