Your mecha designs were super cool. The game loop seems solid except the enemies didn't seem to pose any threat if you just keep moving. There seemed to be some missing effects-- ie if you hit the frog-lookin' guys you get a nice impact sound effect and they animate as if getting hit, but that didnt seem to be in place for any other enemies. Anyway I love the totally unique visual design of this one and feel like it has a ton of promise.
The game ran super smooth even with a ton of enemies onscreen and the pathfinding for them seemed to work great so nicely done!
Nice artwork, models and overall visual design. The game desperately needs a way of properly restarting especially as everything else seems to be so well made. There was also no easy way to exit the game which was a little infuriating too.
Some of the 3D models are pretty cool. I didn't read the game page and went straight into the game and tried to figure out what was going on. I eventually found that a bunch of the enemies would gather around me if I went to one of the bases, but I didn't understand why it was important or why I was getting resources.
I think some of the animation was neat too, although the combat could be more fun with some kind of area attack to hit large groups maybe.
Really awesome visuals and sounded design. Granted i died within 2 min te first time but it was fun non the less!
But about the gameplay loop i didn't understand the resource gathering a lot :(
but the mech designs was very cool , hope this game keeps evolving!
Hi! Thanks for playing.
The game loop is quite simple:
Capture Base -> Kill Enemies -> Gain Resources -> Power Up.
The Goal:
Survive as much as you can.
Hope this info can improve your experience.
Very nice action/strategy blend, the mech designs and overall sound design are totally what shine here !
In a way these designs kinda reminded me of the old 3D animated show Insektor but with way more neon cyber flair to the artstyle :D
Gameplay wise the scorp mech controls fine, but i didn’t really fully understood how the resource gathering works, i just stood close to the otb trees and sometimes i captured some (fully blue) some times i just got a few orbs cause of the nearby enemies and i couldn’t fend them off cause there were so many that kept spawning but my resources kept going up so i didn’t quite get it :/
Other than the confusion on some aspects it has a lot of charms and i also like the “blueprint” style animations you put on the game’s page ^^
Well done !
Hi! Thanks for playing the game.
about the bases capture system is based on how many enemies are close to the base. The more they are the slower is the capture. When a base is fully blue and hear a sound then the base is yours and u get resource by them. In the same way a blue base is yours until is fully red and hear a negative sounds. Then you stop earn resources.
Hope this explanation can help a bit and make the game more fun.
Oh i see ! Thanks for the clarification, i didn’t quite get it that way when i tried :)
