Customization options were cool. The menu style/vibe was pretty nice (I could tell there were some unfinished bits, but I liked the finished bits)

When the enemies get up on you, the shots don't do damage. Not sure if that's intentional or not, but if it is, maybe some sort of "error" type feedback to indicate they are too close. It also would have been cool if there was a way to get yourself out of the middle of them quickly so as to start doing damage again. The simulation mode was insane, but I thought it was fun.

A nice base for a game, but could use some feature and/or of quality of life improvements.

  • I'd like to better know where the boundaries of play are relative to the camera since it's zoomed so far in.
  • Monsters only ever spawn from the same side and end up being unavoidable with current speed and rotation settings on them, would be nice to have more player agency against their movement either with base mobility settings or some kind of dashing skill on a cooldown.
  • With some simple pickups the game could be much more diverse in what it offers. A limited ammo secondary weapon that deals AOE damage or even just health pickups would give me more decisions in where to go and make positional risk/reward more of a factor.
