Loved the idea of a tower defence on a planet! Though the enemies would get stuck in a position and just twitch on the spot, so it didn't really feel much like I was defending my base. If you really polish this up, I think it'd be a really great game!

Developer

Thank you! One of the main issues we had during the jam was developing an enemy AI that works properly on a spherical body. The enemies getting stuck was one of the main bugs we encountered, but we are currently working on fixing the AI and balancing the tower/enemy stats, and hope to develop the game further after the rating period ends.

Great music! I liked how you used the theme. I got a bug were all the enemies got stuck and couldn't reach the tower so I became OP and it was lots of fun xD
work on balancing the enemies and turrets is required, maybe increase the starting amount of money.

great job, was really fun and neat. :)

Developer

Already on it!

The big issue was trying to get the AI to work, but that's fixed in the post-jam version on my account that you can play in the browser. There's still some bugs with it too, but we're slowly working them out. I'm glad you liked it :)

A very neat little game! A little more variety in enemies or towers would be nice in a future iteration, as I just ended up surrounding the space ship with miniguns and couldn't lose, but for 3 days this is perfectly acceptable. I appreciated the originality of a free-place tower defense. Great job!

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The biggest problem (and likely the reason you were able to surround the spawn) was definitely getting the AI to function properly. Most times they just get bugged and don't move like they're supposed to sadly. Currently working on a fix and will update the post-jam submission on my page once I get it working :)

Fantastic! I think that's what happened to me, although even before then it didn't seem like they could destroy drills at all... I understand that AI can be hard, and I haven't even tried it in a 3D environment. Anyway, good luck!

So cool! I did not expect so many features! :D

Check mine if you want :D

This was a very cool game! The creatures destroy very fast the turrets and they are very expensive!! Which results in gameover most of the times , however it is amazing how freely you can build and do stuff around, putting drills and turrets was my strategy.  Awesome Job man :D

Developer

Thank you! Due to some development issues with the enemy AI, we didn't have as much time as we would have liked to balance the enemies and turrets. We hope to continue development after the review period wraps up with the balance being one of our focuses :)

How the hell could you manage to do all of that, meanwhile it took me six hours to have a functioning restart screen, fantastic job, with some balancing and more features I can see this being a cool little full game. And look I know it looks kinda weird but I'm loving the flat shaded models idk why

Developer

There were two of us, that's why. I'm glad you liked it! We could've gotten more done but the enemy AI was super janky because of the spherical world instead of it being flat, so we wasted pretty much an entire day :(

AI is a BITCH even on flat surfaces, but you managed really well I didn't notice it breaking or anything, I didn't even bother with AI and just kept adding force in the direction of the player, I really have a lot to learn about this.

Developer

Thank you and very true! We essentially did the same thing with the enemies moving towards the towers when they were "in range". We also have a ton to learn about the subject and hope to continue development in the future!

well now i don't feel as dumb haha, good luck. can't wait to see what you come up with
