The game was good, and the control scheme didn't bother me that much. The levels were a bit short after realising how to move.

How does your game fit the theme "Unconventional Means"?
You have to control the coin to beat the level.

Average Platformer Ups and Downs
Ups:
- The concept of playing as a coin to move to a character is really original and funny (I had a good chuckle when I first moved the coin and realized what was going on)
- Graphics are appealing
- Music is great
- Good level of difficulty (not too hard, but not too easy either
Downs:
- The control scheme bothered me. Having to mash left and right to move was kind of annoying.
Overall, a short but really fun game!
The unorthodox controls are quite bold, but personally I didn't mind having to mash the left/right buttons as much as I thought I would. The hitbox for the ground spikes is definitely too unforgiving though
Good job! I actually didn't mind the controls so much, I think that's what made it fit the theme & honestly it wasn't terrible. For me, my issue was with the colliders & the scope. It almost felt as though you were REALLY zoomed in because the art was SO big! I think you could zoom out the camera a bit to make the art work smaller and then you could really expand on the level design. Also, the colliders felt a little bit. If you're going off a grid-system, make the colliders inside the sprite just a hair, rather than outlining them so that the player feel so sure like the hit an obstacle. Sometime I would "hit" something, but it didn't look that way from my perspective, if that makes sense?
Overall, good work!
I'd appreciate if you could play/rate my game as well! :)
I’m just going to assume it was intended this way, so if it wasn’t im sorry. The movement controls feel incredibly inconsistent and unintuitive. Jumping is fine, but why does moving left and right work on a psuedo-grid-based system? I’m not even sure how to describe it.
Overall I think the game is fine. For a short game jam timeframe I think its well made overall, but the movement controls really bring down the experience. If possible I would even urge you to reupload a build changing it and claim it was a bug.
